America's Media questioned, Local, State, and National by: George Boston Rhynes

If an inmate had a stroke the first weekend of June 2006 in the Lowndes County Jail, and the inmate could not move his arm on one side of his body. And if the inmate (perhaps) was not given proper medical treatment, and a concerned inmate called an outside person to help this inmate.

Then the outsider arrived and bonded the inmate out of jail. Then took him home and later to a local hospital where HE was a patient until a couple of days ago where he DIED.

Would you inform the citizens of Valdosta, and Lowndes County Georgia and beyond of the circumstances surrounding this death in a timely manner?

Moreover, would you consider the incident news worthy since the inmate allegedly had a stroke while in the jail?

In addition: If the following inmates died in our local jail would you have notified the public of these deaths? If so, on what dates were they reported to the people of Valdosta, Lowndes County Georgia, and beyond---by your news media outlet?

a. James N. Starling, (WHITE), age 63, died 1 May 1996: CAUSE OF DEATH: Coronary atherosclerotic.

b. Clarence Fender, (WHITE), age 70, died 2 April 2006: CAUSE OF DEATH: Heart Attack. Would you find this news worthy to report to the people of Valdosta, Lowndes County and beyond?

Lastly: If these two inmates died in our surrounding the jail and the public does not know about them. Then is it possible that other inmates could have died and not reported to the public?

I did a goggle search, a Valdosta Daily Times search, and could not find either of them on the Internet. How could this be since one happened as recent as 2 April 2006?

If my math is correct, and according to information given to Georgia State NAACP Conference President Edward DuBose by Sheriff Ashley Paulk following the press conference on July 5, 2006.

There have been about five deaths within ten months, and fifteen since 1994.

2-Willie Lee Gaye, age 39, died 23 October 1995:

3-James N. Starling, age 63, died 1 May 1996:

4-Willie James Williams, age 49, died 2 Sept 1998:

5-Ronzie Sonny Graham, age 48, died 13 July 2000:

6-Rosemary King, Age 40, died 20 July 2001:

7-Richard William Oakley, age 27, died April 2002:

8-Sandra J. Wallace, age 39, died 31

9-Lisa Sanders, age 38, died 2003:

10-John Henry Dejonghe, age 49, died 21 June 2004:

11-Amaruy Quinones, age 34, died 2 Sept 2005:

12-Esavious Wright, age 29, died, 16 February 2006:

13-Bobby Stanford, age 55, died 23 March 2006:

14-Clarence Fender, age 70, died 2 April 2006:

15. George Hill Jr., age 21, died 23 June 2006:

And inmates said on May 5, 2006. That there are even more deaths but not reported by the media. How could this be (if true), in the 21st century with our news gathering professionals? Thanks!
